But will zinnia accept his love? In the midst of all this their life takes a tragic turn,
They stumble upon a sinful mystery.
what is it? Will they be able to live the life they wanted to?

OVERVIEW  / MY OPINION : This book was very well written. The starting itself got me intruged into it. The descriptions of the characters and places was done perfectly, there was not any  kind of info dumping anywhere in it. The cover design was appropriately chosen.
Also this is not like any other stories that I find in Indian novels. The plot was fresh and neat.  The writing style was good. The magic happened when the story took a twist & it was the I-DIDN'T-EXPECT-THAT-TO-COME, Kinda movement. The only part wherein this book disappointed me a bit was when the twist didn't last long, it felt as if the author hurried a lot to finish the story. If only the latter part of the book could have been longer , it would create the perfect environment of mystery and thriller.
But overall the book was a good, light and a quick read.  Definitely recommended if you're a beginner and also if you're looking for a fresh and easy going read.

MY RATING : 3.5/5

OVERVIEW/ MY OPINION: Firstly, before starting with my review over this book I'd like to clear it out that this is solely my overview about this book. Please don't be offended by it.
In case you still get offended, I owe you an apology for it. But let's just consider the fact that everyone has a different liking towards certain things, the things that are loved by me will be hated by you and vice versa.  I respect your opinion & expect the same from your part.🙂

This book was a serious disappointment, honestly after reading "Flying without wings" by Rishabh puri , I was really excited about this book, but however it didn't just match up with my expectations and the reason for which is quite obvious. The title and the summary just did not do justice to the content inside, the summary seemed to be like a women empowerment cum belive in hope kinda read  and the title as a Thriller + Romance but the content inside was a plain , boring and a normal bollywood cliché for which the ending was quite expected . However I like the narration of this book. The writing style was average, But still  it just didn't work out for me.

MY RATING : 2/5

BOOK REVIEW : LOVE A LITTLE STRONGER by PREETI SHENOY

Does anyone of you maintain a diary? Or has attempted to maintain one?
If yes, then you'll surely know the feeling of nostalgia that you get while you go through it after a few days, months or even years !
And what say about the feeling we get while reading someone else's diary !;-p but what if you're caught, you're doomed 😂. Apart from all this it's sometimes beneficial and sometimes not.  Now I know, you'll might be wondering why I'm I suddenly talking about diaries? Well it's because today's review is to some extent related to it.  Because it's about the book Love A Little Stronger by Preeti Shenoy .

LANGUAGE: English
GENRE: Non fiction, memoir
PAGES/LENGTH: 164
PUBLISHER :  SRISHTI PUBLISHERS

DESCRIPTION : Life is a collection of moments, some memorable and some mundane. Often it is the tiniest things that bring the greatest joy, even though at that time, we have no idea that what we are witnessing may be magical, something that we will talk about and laugh over after many years.
Packed with her hilarious narratives, poignant observations and a writing style loved by millions across the world, this book is certain to strike a chord with anybody who has children or who has been a child, themselves.[Sic..]

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Preeti Shenoy is the bestselling author of Life is What You Make It and nine other titles. Her books have been translated into several Indian and foreign languages. She is among the highest selling authors in India. She is also a speaker, columnist, and artist. Preeti has been featured on BBC, Conde Nast, Verve, India Today and all other major media.[Sic..]

OVERVIEW/ MY OPINION:  I had an amazing time reading this book and now a really hard time reviewing it, can you describe things that speak and are attached to your soul? Not always right? Initially this book seemed like a really easy and quick read, honestly I thought that reading 164 pgs is not a  big deal, but as I started off with my journey through this book, I  realised how wrong I was. Believe me, once you start reading it, you might not want to put it down, however after every couple of chapters I found myself shutting the book and think about whatever this author has to speak about.(ps. That's why I'm so late to review it)
Every chapter teaches you a different life lesson. I found that this book changed my way of perceiving certain things for the good.
I got this book just exactly at the right time in my life.  I never found myself laughing out so much at any book. Secondly, what can I say about the writing style? Do I even need to describe it? It's something that's loved my thousands across the globe.  There's no plot as such in this book because it contains short stories/ anecdotes from the author’s life.
For all those who have ready 36 bubblegum and Candies, this book is just an updated version of it. This book is a must read for everyone, even if you hate reading. I bet it's not gonna disappoint you.

MY RATING5/5

Book Review : Flying Without Wings by Rishabh Puri

How far would you take optimism in your life?
How far would you go for the promise of true love ?
How long are you agreeing to walk with someone through all their good & bad times?
Are you willing to be the kind of person who gives others are reason to live?
A reason to fly? A reason to believe that true love does exists ?
Hello there peeps, hope you'll are doing well.
Firstly I'd like to apologize for not being able to post for about 2 weeks the reason being that I was really caught up with college & book reviews. However I'm back today with another book review titled Flying without wings by Rishab Puri
 LANGUAGE: English
GENRE : YA romance
PAGES: 190
PUBLISHED: 2017
PUBLISHER: Harpercollins

SUMMARY/ PLOT:

This story revolves around Milli bajwa a common girl from chandigarh who works at an airport and Karan singhania a young millionaire.  They both have their own set of burdens to bear and face off.
Milli, is burdened by her family & financial  troubles, karan has his heart broken is many ways (from illness to failed relationships)
They happen to meet on an online dating site and from there begins their adventure, but there's something that keeps bothering milli,
Karan has never revealed his identity to her.
What is it that keeps holding him back?

OVERVIEW/ MY OPINION:   I had mixed feelings while reading this book.
Firstly there are certain scenes in this book that confused me a little while reading.
However there were many things that I totally loved in this book. Firstly the writing style, I have honestly never been so impressed by any author's writing style !
Rishab puri really has a fantastic flair in writing, he has tackled the modern day romance and has guided it towards the path of commitment, hope , trust and loyalty.
My favourite character in this book is definitely karan singhania ;-) he is the kind of person anyone would like to be friends with.
Secondly most of conversation between milli and Karan is in the form of messages,  which makes it a really effervescent read !
Overall this was a very pleasant and easy going  quick  read  with short chapters.
And honestly I feel that this book is so important in today's world where among a few masses,  love is just a quote, affection has been replaced by attractions and feelings are just  not considered real.
I'd recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a simple  light hearted &  yet a heartwarming romance.

OVERVIEW/ MY OPINION: Well firstly I would like to appreciate this author's idea of coming up with such a good and an informative book.
This book contains stories of  the Legends who shaped our lives, and no, this ain't any type of information that you might simply find out on the Internet . The writing style was good, it did not let my reading pace decrease , instead it was a very interesting read. I was introduced to so many new personalities while reading this book, also it updated my existing knowledge over the various  personalities  whom I already knew.  The second good part about this book is the set of quotes that are attached after ever personality,   it enhances ones reading experience .  The only part wherein this book disappointed me a bit was when I noticed that there are hardly a few female personalities mentioned in here, I wanted more of them, because but obvious they have contributed to the society as well. There are many females about whom this author could have spoken about but he didn't.
Speaking about the cover, it's really something that catches one eye on it, it displays the pictures of all the people mentioned in this book. Now, I know that a few of you might think that because it has a touch of history in it, it might be boring. Let me tell you, it's not at all boring. I struggle while reading
Non Fiction , I like this genre but I struggle a bit with it. However this wasn't the case with this book, it was a really easy going , light read  with simple language in it. Also it was a quick read, suitable for all age groups.
Another good thing is that it has covered almost all the fields such as arts, science, politics, humanity and literature.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to get into reading nonfiction/ historical books.  Another thing that impressed me a lot was the ending of the book, in which this author has specified the key features and traits that are common among these  personalities.
I'm really glad that it's finally made available in a kindle version, it's really inexpensive  (in the kindle format) . This book is a must read for everyone, even if you hate reading ;-) I bet you'll not regret investing your time and money in it.

My Rating: 4/5

AN INSPIRATIONAL NOTE , TO YOU

DREAMERS CREATE A WORLD OF THEIR OWN.

Dreams, are often considered far way better than the real world,as dreams are just a bed full of roses .People often considered people who have dreams just simply as dreamers, thinking that they just cannot put them into reality. However, dreamers are the ones who have a clear idea about what the have to do,what should be their next move in order to put their dreams into reality as they have certain aims and goals set up into those dreams .Therefore, the saying goes "Dreamers create a world of their own " ,which is absolutely true. They put in their best to bring their dreams to life by persistence, acquiring knowledge and most importantly asking themselves everyday "What will I be remembered for ?" , and hence their hard work pays off and their are successfull enough to achieve what they want ,but there are times they too have to face defeats. However, their dreams help them to be strong enough to manage failures and rise up again. They are extremely passionate and dedicated towards their goal . We have examples of late Dr. APJ Abdul kalam and Mahatma Gandhi who were visionary dreamers, they tried to exercise all of their dreams into their lives and succeeded in most of them.  Did you know , that JK Rowling was fired from her job because of dreaming too much, and we all know what happened after that, she wrote the Harry potter series thats ruling over our hearts since 20 long years. There are a few psychological benefits of dreaming for eg. 1) Dreaming makes you more creative. 2) If ever your stuck, you'll have a bunch of ideas to back you up !3)  Following up with the 2nd point, if you have a bunch of ideas to back you up, you'll probably be improving your problem solving skills! 4) As per a recently conducted psychological study, it is proved that dreaming helps in enhancing ones memory.  5)  Dreaming increases your level of emphaty . 6) Helps you focus Better : It is interesting to note that both daydreaming, which is using the mind to distance ourselves from the present moment and external reality, and mindfulness which is about immersing ourselves in the present moment of our external reality, contribute to healthy functioning and wellbeing because the better we get at both the better we become at filtering out distraction. 7) Connect with your unconscious : Daydreaming is a way to access our unconscious. One way daydreaming can do this is by providing our minds with valuable down-time, which provides the space for unconscious information to surface. Often when we return to a task after a short period of daydreaming we will find that answers that eluded us only moments before suddenly appear clear and obvious. Indeed, many of us would have noticed that it is often when our brains are occupied with non-demanding tasks that elusive answers pop up into our awareness. 8) This is something that I personally think happens to me when I dream, and that's getting Curious! Just think about it, whenever you dream something that obviously new to you, you'd want to know more about it and hence I think that dreaming enhances my curiosity as well.
So after you've started dreaming about your future, what's next? Well it's something that's the most important thing in your life, You have to  learn to BELIEVE IN THE BEAUTY OF YOUR DREAMS. Remember people that if you yourself don't believe in your dreams, no one else would.
To give you an example, I'll share my own experience with you , When I started writing a couple of poems and writings I wanted to share it with you guys, but deep down in my heart i
was even scared and worried over its working , my consistency in posting, the accuracy of my posts and above all you people liking it & finding it helpful.  There was this one though that always crossed my mind, that who would even see my blogpost, probably people are gonna wonder what can this 16yr old even write upon? It took me around 3 long weeks to realise how wrong my thoughts were , and it was then when I decided that, it doesn't matter even if there are just 2 people who are gonna read my posts but I want my posts to inspire, heal and help them.
I learned to believe in myself and in my dreams to make them come true . Without which I would never be able to continue writing !
And finally, I would like to end my article  saying that dreaming is great, but it's fruitful only when you believe in it  and strive towards it.
Thank you for giving this article your time. I hope it inspires you to believe and chase your dreams. If you like it or if I have missed something that should have been included in this article then please do comment below it and don't forget to subscribe to my blogpost for more such posts (again remember I post weekly 🙂)

BOOK REVIEW: ELISSA BLUE by Tk Perry

Tell me how many times as kids or even  as adults you've debated over the existence of unicorns🦄 , but deep down in your heart  atleast once you've wanted to see one such unicorn?
Well, you  know that no matter how old you get you can never get over this fandom ;-p. But off lately I've found myself buried in a new fandom, now get surprised because  it's *Human butterfly hybrids *. All thanks to the book Elissa blue by tk perry.  So folks,
Are you looking out for a fresh, new and a mind blowing fantasy read?  Well then, your at the right place!  I've got one such suggestion for you  today ! So let's take a look at it.
Language: English
Publisher: Scarlet note publishing
Published: 19 January, 2017
Pages: 396(paperback)/ 405 (kindle)
Genre : YA,FANTASY ROMANCE.
Standalone? : Nope,duology
PLOT/SUMMARY*before starting with the plot,I'd like to clear it out once again that is story is nowhere related to fairies and witches but human butterfly hybrids *
So, this story begins with the introduction as to how the human - butterfly hybrids came into existence and how it's their world now .
This story revolves around Elissa(a human butterfly hybrid obviously) who has just gotten her wings and to fly to the mating mountain and find her mate before her season ends. If she doesn't manage to do so she'll be stranded there as a life servant all her life, and even if she finds a wrong mate, her life might get even more miserable. So will she ever be successful in finding the right mate for her ?
OVERVIEW/ MY OPINION:  well firstly, I would like to  appreciate this author's creativity  . She has expanded the horizons of her imagination and creativity to a whole new and an unbelievable level. I mean, come on ..who could even think of human - butterfly hybrids!
This story has a wonderful and fresh approach, I was gripped to the core while reading this, trust me I just couldn't put this book down.
It's interesting right from page 1. My thirst  grew deeper, page by page. There was not even a single page that I disliked or felt bored while reading it.
This story was really very well written and presented. There was no kind of info dumping in it which was great (for me;-p because I find it too irritating) everything was described vividly and just in the perfect way. I learnt so many life lessons from this book which I'll be carrying ahead in my life. This book just did so much to me, it made me cry, laugh, and most importantly it made me fall for it!  I could connect with the protagonist Elissa blue very well as she too finds it difficult to make decisions just like me;-p also during  the times  she has made stupid decisions and regretted them,so me ;-p.  Also this was my very first fantasy read that I actually completed, fantasies  were never really my kinda reads but this book really made me love this genre.
Her journey to the mating mountain and her  adventures there make this book a perfect fun filled  read . If your looking out for a fantasy read and are new to this genre just like I was, then this book is a perfect read for you
Even if you love fantasies this book will never disappoint you.
If there's one word in which I was told to describe this book I'd say, it's effervescent!
I'm really awaited for book 2 which is coming up by the end of summer. I hope I  can get  my  hands on it and be able to make a review over it as well.
MY RATING: 5/5
