Overview/ My Opinion:

I had the most wonderful time reading this book.  Its definitely one of the best books I've ever read!
The storyline was beautiful, the plot was fresh and strong enough to keep me gripped to  the core while reading this book. The writing style was good, the language used was easy going, crisp and lucid. The cover and the title are appropriately chosen.

Coming to the part that i absolutely loved,  i.e the character development. Honestly after reading the Diary of anne Frank, the only time when i could connect with the protagonist so much was only when I read this book.

Erica ( The protagonist) was so much like me.
In the initial stage of reading this book , I felt i was seeing a reflection of my own self!

This book has so much to offer, from trust, bondings , friendships, love and the list can go on!

The chemistry between Erica & Sasha was the most adorable part of the book, also not forgetting the friendship between Danny and Erica.

I liked the way the emmotions of each character is crafted, its raw and pure.

It was nice getting an insight into the lifes of these Teenagers.

I also liked the kind of fairy tale Romance that this book upholds along with a slightly different political background.

Now coming to the part that was a complete Game changer/ toe curler / table turner / etc... call it whatsoever but it was the I-DIDN'T-EXPECT-THAT-TO-COME  kinda movement. Yes, I'm obviously referring to the Climax!
It totally ripped off my heart!  I've cried after a fairly long time over a book

Based on this book itself i can say that the entire trilogy can be adapted into an amazing movie series as well! Infact i really want it to be adapted into a movie, so that her story can reach out to other non- readers as well.

Overall this was an excellent read & definitely a tear jearker!
Would i recommend it? Hell yes! Its a must read if you love the Romance Genre, just like i do. This book is definitely gonna strike  a chord in your heart.

Even if you don't like the Genre, i think this book is definitely capable of changing your opinion ;-p

My Rating: 5/5🌟

Overview/ My Opinion: I always love reading children's books, they are light and easy going at the same time heart touching due to the innovation and innocence put in it  by the authors .

This book too is one of them. I really liked reading it, the storyline was good and easy going, the plot was strong enough.
The character  development was done really well, i could connect with the characters as well. The writing style was good, this will also give children a chance to expand  their vocabulary. The font is quiet comfortable on one's eyes.
The cover  is chosen appropriately. The beautiful illustrations enhanced my reading experience and  is sure to catch up with your childs attention and interest as well.

This book has a lot to offer to children, values such as Kindness, love , friendship, generosity, honesty   and much more.

Now coming to the part where the book required some improvements , firstly the title could have been chosen more comprehensively,
Secondly the climax was rushed, I would have loved it even more if it would last longer.

Overall, this was a very pleasant and an easy going read.  Definitely recommended if you want to get your child into reading some really good stuff!

My Rating: 4/5 🌟

Book Review: Until Love Sets Us Apart by Aditya Nighhot

Are you looking out for a contemporary romance story? If yes, then this post is for you.

Hello  everyone, thank you for giving this post your time, I'm back today with another book review titled UNTIL LOVE SETS US APART by ADITYA NIGHHOT.

LANGUAGE: English
GENRE: Fiction/ Contemporary Romance
LENGTH: 232
PUBLISHER: Fingerprint publishers
PUBLISHED: 15 Aug, 2018

DESCRIPTION:

Aisha and Rohit are like chalk and cheese. While Rohit is completely aimless and imperfect, Aisha is focussed and a perfectionist. Just two opposites. But don’t they say opposites attract?
He loves her . . . She loves him. Their wedding is on the cards but their love is put to the test when an unforeseen incident hits their lives.
Can loving somebody immensely set you apart?
Can everything just change in the blink of an eye?
Inspired from real-life incidents, this ‘Best Romance Book of the Year’ award winning novel is a heart-wrenching tale of true love, friendship and destiny. And a young author’s quest to find out what exactly happened . . .

OVERVIEW/ MY OPINION:

I had a really wonderful time reading this book & now a really hard time reviewing it.
The plot was good and strong, I could connect with the Author  who was in search for a story to be known to the world.  The character backgrounds and development was done well.
The cover and the title are appropriately chosen.  The writing style was good, the only place where it disappointed me a bit was when it took a slow pace in the between and at times a scene or two  from the book sounded quiet filmy. The climax was something so unpredictable, it literally broke my heart,
I couldn't really believe it that the book that caused the "butterflies in my stomach " kinda feeling, made me laugh so much, now the very same book ripped off my heart, it made me sob so much.

Moreover, it was good getting an insight into the lifes of these medical students, to learn  more about their lifestyle and experiences.

This book deals with an issue that's so prominent in today's world.  I've atleast on my part, read very few books that talk about this issue.

Overall, this was a very interesting and heart wrenching read, an absolute tear jearker. I
Definitely recommend you to give this book a try.
Im pretty sure that you'll love it as much as I do.

MY RATING: 4/5💫

Book Review: Men and dreams in the dhauladhar by kocheri C Shibu

Are you looking out for a book which will give you the perfect indian Vibes? If yes, then this post is for you!

Hello there everyone, thank you so much for giving this post your time.  I'm back today with another book review titled Men and dreams in the dhauladhar by kochery C Shibu.

LANGUAGE: English
GENRE: Fiction
LENGTH: 283
PUBLISHER: Niyogi books
PUBLISHED: 3 August.  2015

DESCRIPTION/ SYNOPSIS:
A hydelpower project in the remote Himalayas. Three people brought together by fate. Nanda, an engineer from Kerala at the dam construction site hiding from his past, from the law, torn between the love of his dear ones and the traditional kalari code of revenge. Khusru, a boy displaced from his native village in Kashmir, a gambit in the terror plot threatening to blow up the dam, working as a labourer at the site. Rekha, a Kathak dancer in heart, a doctor by profession, arrives at the campsite as the consort of Khusru. A village that accepts the dictates of modernity with a heavy heart, its population steeped in superstitions and religious beliefs.

All throng the campsite like moths to a flame, some escape untouched, successful; some, miss a step, and perish. Each has a story to tell and a dream to realise. Men and Dreams in the Dhauladhar is about the aspirations of these people with their cares and worries woven into the site life. The fury of nature and the hardships of project life have no mercy for the weak and no time for the dead. Like an eternal spectator the Dhauladhar watches as men risk life and limb in a quest to fulfill their dreams.[sic]

OVERVIEW/ MY OPINION:

I had mixed feelings while reading this book.
Firstly the concept is fresh and innovative.
The character backgrounds were really well developed. I could connect with the characters well.  The writing style was good and the language used was easy going and lucid.
Now coming to the part where the book required some improvements, firstly this is a character driven book i.e a lot of attention is paid to the development of the characters, however I found the plot to be weak, I wish that the amount of time that was given to the character development, would be given to the plot as well. Secondly though the writing style was good there were too many abusive words / native words used which made it a bit difficult to get in.
The technical aspects/ chapters of the book made it a bit boring at times, secondly the book takes a very slow pace in the between.
Lastly the climax was rushed and the book ended quite abruptly which kinda took out the soul of this book.

Now coming to the part that i absolutely loved,
I loved the way to emotions of each character is crafted, its raw, pure , passionate & dedicated to their loved ones
I loved the way the life of the commoners living in the northern part of India is shown,
Their dreams their difficulties all are highlighted very well. I really appreciate the time, effort and research put in this book.
Considering the fact that this is the authors debut novel, he has done a really good job.
 Definitely a very insightful read!

Overall this was a good read and definitely worth giving a try once! But this is definitely not a read for beginners...tho it has something  for everyone, pick it up only after you've read a good no. Of books.

MY RATING: 3.5/5💫
