SYNOPSIS:

Naina is back from America, after four years of living on her own. A natural rebel, she has had some fairly life-altering experiences which Mum and Dad would not approve of at all if they get to know. But will her spirit and her stand be enough to fight the forces of parental pressure and heckling aunties baying for her nuptials?
Back in the bosom of her conservative family, Naina cannot even begin to imagine the turn her life is going to take. It's wedding season, and she must now be married. Because every self-respecting upper-middle-class family in India do that, right? Marriage at the 'right age' to the 'right family'.whether she likes it or not.
Naina's worst nightmares are about to come true. What hits her within a week of being at home completely changes her world and her life as she embarks on a journey that will define her and provide her an education that only life can.
Ayaan, Rohan, Akshay, Shiven. Who will it be? Will she even have a shot at romance, being with someone she loves, irrespective of his caste, respectability or bank balance? She will have to summon all the chutzpah within to fight for herself. For her notions of love and living.
Will she succeed? Like a chrysalis unfolding, will Naina, too, emerge with her wings unscathed?

OVERVIEW/ MY OPINION:

I had a fairly amazing time reading this book.

Firstly the concept around which it revolves is quiet general yet it's not much spoken about.

The thing that I absolutely loved was they way nainas inner voice was personified.

Secondly this book was a perfect blend of all the emmotions, the main one being humour and sarcasm, its really difficult to fit in both of these things amidst of a serious situation.

The narration was done well, it keeps the reader engaged.

The language was easy going and lucid.
The writing style was good.

The cover is beautiful and the title is quiet catchy.

The storyline was beautiful, the plot was strong enough to keep me gripped to the core while reading this book with the various and unexpected twists and turns that keep coming up.

Though the story was predictable towards the end, i quite a lot enjoyed reading this.

The character and the supporting characters were very well developed.  I could connect with the characters well.

Though nainas character and behaviour seems quite silly at times, one is sure to enjoy reading about her.

The emotions of each character is crafted beautifully and presented perfectly.

Overall, this was a very pleasant and an easy going read.  Definitely recommended if you're a beginner or your looking for a fast paced romantic fiction.

MY RATING: 4/5🌟

Overview/ My Opinion:

I had the most wonderful experience with this book.  Firstly the concept around which it revolvesis very deep. The content herein is strong and intruding, its bound to leave a huge impact on the reader.

Though this book is quite descriptive, i was astonished that it does not bore the reader, infact it keeps the reader engaged in reading it.  All credit for this goes to the author's fantastic and fluent writing style.
The plot was fresh and strong,
The characters too were developed quite well, I could connect with the protagonist Noor really well.

The places in this book are described intricately, it makes a reader live there!
The emmotions of each character is crafted beautifully and presented perfectly with the blend of the simple and lucid language used in this book.

The cover and the title are appropriately chosen, keeping in mind the interest and curiosity of a reader.
The blurd did  do justice to the content inside.

I absolutely loved the way the author has portrayed the social evils prevailing in the society even today.
I loved the way WOMEN EMPOWERMENT has been spoken about in this book.
Coming to the part that i absolutely loved, the way mental illness has been spoken about & above all how the stereotypical misconceptions about psychotherapy have been given a thought!

This story is sure to strike a chord in your heart and bring tears to one's eyes.
Overall, this was a very interesting and a fantastic read.  Definitely recommended if you're looking for a really fresh and unique read, beginners may however find it a bit difficult to get in it, but I'm sure if one manages to, they'll truly love it just as I did.
