QUARANTINE READS RECOMMENDATIONS

My favourite Quarantine Reads!

Hello everyone, hope you're doing well, are safe  and are hanging in there until we get over the pandemic.

Frankly speaking, reading during this time has been a very different and difficult due to various issues such as lack on concentration, anxiety and so on. However I did manage to read quite a few books and I decided to put some of my favourite Quarantine reads together. The reason why they qualify into this category is because they're uplifting, lively, and full of hope-just what we need the most during these challenging times.(plz note there are a few that I've read before the lock down, but because they're capable of lifting up ones mood I decided to put them up on the list!)

*Due to some technical difficulties not all the review links could be added,so plz find them on my blog and/or on my instagram page *

I truly hope you'll like reading this and if you plan on picking up one of them, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

So let's begin....

1)REMI

The unexpected adventures of Remi by Shweta roy is a story told from the perspective of domestic animals, its a blend of fiction and fantasy. The story starts off by the chicago pet shop bidding farewell to Remi, a 2 year old dog who is all set to start a life now with his new owners.
Things don't go as planned and as she soon realises that humans are too caught up with themselves and their technology to acknowledge the presence of pets in their lives. As Remi meets some more fur buddies they start taking up various adventures all of which are narrated in the story.

For all you painters and writers out there, this book is for you!

Art, text, love by ajith siva is a simple, contemporary romance novel revolving around the life of an aspiring writer jay and a comic artist Cassy. Their story like many others starts at a café which is jays common place to hang out. The storyline though is simple and might seem cliché at some point, the content of this has much more to offer . What's in store for these two opposite millennials? Pick this book out to find out.

In search of home is a book whose story revolves around the life of an orphan child Dev, amidst all the hardships that he faces his dream in life is to tie up all the loose ends such as finding something about his parents and/or about the lady who decided to fund his entire education since grade 5 and lastly to find his HOME.
A major chunk of this story is in the form of diary entries by Dev that give the reader a personal feeling of the story.

BOOK REVIEW - A TRYST WITH TRISTAN BY PRANAV RAO

SUMMARY:

A tryst with Tristan is a story of a guy trying to find love in the lap of lust. Tristan, a not so regular guy in a regular fast paced city life, has conflicts with his emotions quite often. He finds solace in Hailey, his confidant and closest friend, who tries to help him bring balance in his life. After getting his heart broken, Tristan embarks on his journey with a firm belief to never get cheated on again and to find true everlasting love. Will he find what he is looking for or is he destined for a lifetime of lustful dalliances?(sic)

OVERVIEW : Tryst with tristian by pranav rao is a story of a young boy named Tristian, who tries to find true love in relationships that may be based solely on lust.

The cover of the book is artistically designed, portraying the character and the theme of the book in a right way.

The writing style of the author was good, but the parts of the plot often seem repetitive and hence at some point the story turns boring.

The narration though, was good and engaging to a good amount of time.

The characters required more developments, by means of their personality and ability to connect with the reader.

The storyline has themes of love, lust, chaos and relationships woven in the story.

Overall, this was a good read. The structure of the storys plot and the characters to some extent required improvements.
This book shall cater more to the need of people, enjoying the erotica genre.

MY RATING: 3.8/5
