Book review: Life is the flower, love is the honey.

Are you interested in gifting yourself some good positive weekend vibes? If yes, then this post is for you.

Hello there peeps, hope you'll are doing well.
thank you for giving this post your time.
So today I'm gonna talk about the book Life is  the flower, love is the honey by Surabhi Sharma.

I'm gonna discuss the plot/ settings / characters and much more along with the final verdict of whether this book is worth reading or not.

LANGUAGE: English
GENRE: Fiction/ inspirational Romance/ tiny tale
LENGTH: 113
PUBLISHED: 21 August.2018

DESCRIPTION/ SUMMARY :

‘You are so much more than what you think you are. You are infinite. You have the power to achieve bigger things.’

This is a story of a dream; a story for every dreamer.
Shubh is a dreamer. He wishes to become a nature photographer but submits to his parents’ wishes who want a secure future for him. He fears he will disappoint his parents and gives up on his dreams.
Monica is a dreamer. She is a painter who paints the canvas with the inspirational colors of life. She let go of her fears and inhibitions one day when someone helped give her paintings a purpose.
What happens when fate brings these two dreamers together?
A unique tale of love and life in the form of tiny tales about the dreams and challenges we face.[sic]

OVERVIEW/ MY OPINION :  I had a pretty good experience reading this book, the storyline/ plot was good & on point. The character of Monica was very well developed, I could relate to her a lot, I feel that shubh's characters required  a bit move  crafting. The title and cover were complementing each other really well.
The message/ theme which the author intended to provide while / after reading the book was quite clear in the first half itself. Now coming to the part where the book required some improvements, firstly shubh's workplace should have been described which wasn't done, I  would have loved to understand his attitude towards his workplace and colleagues and not just his job.
Secondly the story should have ended up with giving a detailed information of the lifes of both the characters and not just ones.
Overall this was a pretty good & a pleasant read, with an inspirational story. Considering the fact that this is the authors debut novel, she has done a really good job.
I would recommend it if you're a beginner/ if you want a good weekend/ rainy day read.

MY RATING: 3.5/5🌟
