Independent, are we?

Hello guys, Thank you for giving this post your  time  so today let's talk something about the most important day of our country. YES today is the  72nd independence day of our country. A lot has changed over these  72 years that we've been liberated From the foreign rule. As I say this, you're mind might have probably started to picture a few scenarios before you.  But let me ask you, are we really free? Are really living in the land of freedom? The answer is NO, we aren't...in fact we are still living in a place that could be easily called a land of slavery , we are bonded under superstitious beliefs , blind faith, Reservations still based on caste & gender, untoucability, corruption, exploitation, inequality and oh not forgetting that we are bonded under the preying eyes of those evils who keep scanning a girl from top to bottom not just after but even before birth. We live in a country where godess are worshipped and still don't see that same godess in the heart of an 8 year old.
We want to bring in bullet trains but are least bothered about the bridges collapsing one after the other.
And I know it now that a few of you'll might say, but we are progressing....yes dear we are progressing but not developing.
We are progressing in all the possible ways except that of humanity and intellectual development to treat each other as humans first and not tag them according to their caste .
We will progress people, we can, we will, we have the potential, we have the resources but it shall all be fruitful only if we develop internally as individuals and realise our duty towards our nation.

A few weeks ago when i opened up my newspaper and found  the article over"Nirbhayas Rapist to be hanged soon"
On the very first page itself and complementing to it the article of "Menstrual hygiene finally made Tax free in India"
That is what we can call the progress of a nation, because it's learning to treat individuals rightly & respectfully.

In conclusion I'd like to say,

Indian has fallen and risen ...it will fall & it will rise..time and again. Because that's our true spirit of Indianism that every individual upholds,  and that's when people can  look at us and say  'pakka indian hain'.

Thank you.
Wishing you all a very happy independence day. Do let me know your thoughts over this article & subscribe to my blog. Thank you  💙
